Second trimester (weeks 13 - 26)
- Register for prenatal, childbirth and breastfeeding classes
- Find a pediatrician for your baby
- Arrange maternity leave with your employer
Third trimester (weeks 27 - delivery)
- Get your home ready for baby
- Review common questions about your hospital stay
- Pack your hospital bag
- Get an NHTSA-approved car seat and practice installing and removing it from your car
- Last chance to pre-register - remember to do so before your 35th week of pregnancy
After baby arrives
- Consider attending post-partum classes and support groups
